What Else?

What else might you want to know about CityChurch.

We believe spending time in the local community is one of the the best ways to live out our faith.  Working with the leadership of Kimberely Park Elementary School and other nonprofit organizations across the city of Winston-Salem, NC we participate in regular outreach opportunities.

Our Church is lead through the model set in Acts 6 where the early Church appoints both spiritual and practical leaders to carry out the responsibilities of the Church. Currently, we have four elders and five team leaders alongside other roles that run the operations of CityChurch.

Small Groups

Both building community and study of the Bible are vital to a healthy Church. We offer various small group formats throughout the year. Starting in Fall 2018, join us for a weekly Bible study or short topical studies lasting 3-4 weeks at a time.

CityChurch is a Christ-centered family on mission to proclaim Kingdom diversity and break cultural barriers by discipling people through grace towards holiness.

Seeking a deeper understanding of God's kingdom and His desire for all people? CityChurch is a small church community in Winston-Salem, NC, dedicated to the Gospel—holding a deep conviction that today's church should reflect the diversity of God's kingdom and live in the grace available to us through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Join us in our imperfect, sometimes messy, journey to build community and cross barriers that culture and history have created around all of us. If you are looking for a place to ask questions and to serve others, we hope you'll check out our next gathering or event.

Sunday Gathering

What to expect?

We meet in the auditorium of Kimberley Park Elementary School on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. Each week we start with a time of fellowship followed by musical worship, a message from God's Word and communion.

Is there childcare?

A safe and caring environment is available to infants and young children during our time of worship. As our children grow into young adults we encourage them to join the service and learn alongside the adults.

Do you follow a certain tradition or denomination?

We are not affiliated with a denomination and welcome all backgrounds into our community. We believe that the standard for Christian community is the proclamation that we are all sinners and need the redemption of Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection, the forgiveness of God the Father and the filling of the Holy Spirit. This is our starting point and invite open discussion on other matters. In our choices, whether ministry, traditions or teaching we try to cling only to things that align with God's Word and his leading in our lives.
